Newport World Resorts brings sweet indulgence to the forefront for World Chocolate Day on July 7, with a monthlong showcase of chocolate creations across its signature hotels and cafés.
At Hotel Okura Manila, the Yawaragi Pastry Boutique partners with homegrown bean-to-bar chocolatier Theo and Philo to present a limited-edition lineup from July 7 to 31. The richly layered Coco-Cacao Cheesecake, available in whole and mini sizes, shares the spotlight with the flaky Choco Pili Croissant and soft Milk Chocolate Ensaymada. Each treat features bold local cacao flavors, with prices starting at P210 nett. The Coffee Barako Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar, combining dark chocolate and roasted coffee, rounds out the collection. Yawaragi also offers the Blueberry Dark Chocolate Latte through Aug. 31, priced from P350++. The seasonal drink blends dark chocolate with blueberry, citrus, and hibiscus, drawing inspiration from Japanese summers.
At Sheraton Manila Hotel, S Kitchen adds a nostalgic note to breakfast with Tsokolate de Batirol, a traditional Filipino hot chocolate made from native tablea and served warm from a dedicated batirol station. The drink is part of the daily breakfast buffet from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m., priced at P1,800 nett.
At Hilton Manila, breakfast at Kusina Sea Kitchens features The Art of Champorado, a warm and comforting bowl of native tablea rice porridge. It is also included in the P1,800 nett buffet. Guests can also enjoy the Godél Hot Chocolate, made in collaboration with Godél and Auro Chocolates, offering a rich bean-to-bar experience. Meanwhile, Madison Lounge’s Chocolate Table highlights handcrafted chocolate bars made with premium Philippine cacao, with prices starting at P280 nett.
At the Garden Wing Café, the Chocolate Custard Pie is available through July and August. The dessert features a creamy chocolate filling set in a flaky crust, topped with whipped cream and white chocolate, priced at P1,800 nett.
La Creperie brings playful richness with Banana Brownie Chocolate Crepe, Oreo Cookies and Cream, and Chocolate Crepe Cake. Each is priced between P225 and P365, offering familiar flavors folded into delicate layers.
Mary Grace Café serves its signature Chocolate Cake year-round, made with Belgian chocolate and filled with creamy custard. Prices start at P476.
At Paper Moon Café, the Cocoa Rum Mille Crepe is a refined celebration dessert. It features layers of chocolate crepes, almond slivers, and a touch of rum, dusted with cocoa powder. Priced at P3,990, the cake is available for a limited time.
Whether enjoyed warm and traditional or cool and contemporary, chocolate takes the spotlight this July at Newport World Resorts. The event honors both the craft and comfort of cacao, offering guests a reason to slow down, savor, and celebrate World Chocolate Day in delicious fashion.
