Podium Social unveils the ultimate new dining scene in Ortigas

It has been decreed: Level 6 of The Podium on ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City is the new designated “hot spot” for dining and socializing. On June 26, 2025, an event aptly called Podium Social heralded this decree—and if the wildly successful evening was a foretaste of what’s to come, count me in as a fresh convert and true believer.

Osteria Antica from the Wildflour Group opened a few months back, and they’ve now been joined by Bistro Aurora (the second dining concept from this highly regarded group), the always-reliable Brotzeit, and H Proper Coffee Roaster (a coffee stop that’s so much more than just coffee(. Coming in August is Lazy Suzy, an exciting new Pan-Asian food concept from the group that includes Chef Patrick Go. In my book, that makes for a diverse, eclectic curation of food choices—and I love how SM Supermalls has put so much thought into creating this heady mix.

Mandaluyong City Mayor Ben Abalos and Mayor-elect Menchie Abalos dropped by the event and had a great time sampling dishes from the various establishments, eventually settling at Osteria Antica for dinner. As for the other invitees, it was a whirlwind of tasting across all five eateries, with guests swapping notes and food reviews. The best part? There were really no comparisons to be made—each spot had such distinct offerings and unique cuisine.
