Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno'' Domagoso signed 20 executive orders (EOs) on his first day back in office Monday, marking an assertive start to his new term.

The city government has yet to release the full details of the signed EOs, but they reportedly cover key areas such as public sanitation, government transparency, business permits, illegal street vending, and public safety.
Domagoso said the EOs form part of his administration’s effort to restore discipline, efficiency, and order in the city.
City Administrator Atty. Wardee Quintos, Secretary to the Mayor Manuel Zarcal, City Legal Officer Atty. Luch Gempis, and Chief of Staff Cesar Chavez were present during the signing.
Domagoso served as mayor of Manila from 2019 to 2022.
He returned to the Manila City Hall after a three-year break from public office, vowing to continue the reforms he initiated during his first term.
More details on each executive order are expected to be released by the Manila Public Information Office within the week.
