4 hurt in Zamboanga City crash

ZAMBOANGA CITY -- Four people, including two minors, were injured in a vehicular accident in Barangay Sinunuc here on Saturday evening, June 28. 
The collision involved two vehicles -- an Isuzu Bongo and a Bajaj.
The Isuzu Bongo driven by 42-year-old Darwin delos Santos Francisco  was traveling west  when it collided with a Bajaj vehicle driven by 30-year-old Pudding Jumala Sala in the opposite direction.
The impact caused significant damage to both vehicles and left the passengers of the Bajaj  with various injuries.
The passengers in the Bajaj were identified as Iyam Jumala Sala, 54, female, from Sirawai, Zamboanga del Norte; Nurhima Sala Jamha, 31, female, from Ayala, Zamboanga City; Alnaizer Sala Serajam, 10, male, from Sirawai, Zamboanga del Norte; and Julayka Sala, 2, female, from Ayala, Zamboanga City.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured to the Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC).
Both vehicles involved in the accident, along with the driver of the Isuzu Bongo, were taken to  Zamboanga City Police Office Station 8 or further investigation and proper disposition.
Authorities are conducting follow-up investigation.
