The police arrested a man during a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay West Rembo, Taguig on June 28.
The suspect was identified as alias Dennis, 40, a resident of the same barangay, who was tagged by the Taguig police as a street-level drug personality.
The operation resulted in the confiscation of 35.5 grams of shabu valued at P241,400, marked buy-bust money and drug paraphernalia.
The suspect is under police custody and will face a complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, the new acting Southern Police District director, praised the team for the operation.
“This accomplishment reflects the firm dedication of our police force in addressing the drug problem in our communities. The successful arrest of a street-level drug personality is a direct result of the operatives' vigilance, coordination, and commitment to their sworn duty,” he said.
