'FPJ's Batang Quiapo' thanks viewers for strong TV ratings and online viewership

“FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” thanked Filipinos who continue to watch Tanggol’s action-packed encounters after the series posted a strong 20.4 percent average in total Philippine household TV ratings covering both urban and rural from June 23 to 26, which was higher than its competitor that got 16.0 percent, according to data from Kantar Media.
The Coco Martin-starrer, which remains the country’s most-watched teleserye, opened the week strongly with hard-hitting action scenes on June 23 as it recorded a national TV rating of 20.2 percent compared to its competitor, which got 17.1 percent.
More Filipinos continued to tune in the following day for the June 24 episode, which featured the death of McCoy De Leon’s villain character, as the series registered a national TV rating of 21.3 percent, compared to its competitor's 16.2 percent.
The series maintained its lead for the June 25 episode, hitting a national TV rating of 19.2 percent, which was higher than its competitor's 15.4 percent. The Kapamilya series also edged out its competitor for the June 26 episode, garnering a national TV rating of 20.7 percent compared to 15.4 percent.
“FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” was also a hit in terms of online viewership after generating more than half a million or over 600,000 daily peak concurrent viewers on Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube during the same period.
In a recent interview, Coco promised to deliver non-stop adrenaline-pumping episodes and exciting plot twists as the show continues to hook Filipinos on a nightly basis.
