The passenger got off the motorcycle and chased after the man, who tried to flee.
The victim was shot after a short chase.
He collapsed to the ground but managed to get back on his feet.
Meanwhile, the assailants quickly returned to their motorcycle and sped off in the opposite direction.
A relative shared that the victim had recently lost a cockfight bet and was supposed to meet someone to settle a payment on the night of the shooting.
Because both suspects were wearing helmets, residents were unable to identify them.
