Newborn baby boy killed in motorcycle accident

TAGKAWAYAN, Quezon – A three-day-old baby boy was killed in a freak motorcycle accident in Barangay Rizal, this town, on Wednesday night, June 25.

Police said the victim, Ronald, was wrapped in a blanket and carried by his mother, Janeth, on their way home to Del Gallego, Camarines Sur onboard a motorcycle driven by his father Ruben, 33.
A part of the blanket became entangled in the chain and the victim was pulled from his mother’s arms.
The victim was caught in the chain and sustained severe injuries.
He was taken to a hospital here where he was declared dead by a doctor.
Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
