Muntinlupa's newly elected officials to take oath on June 30

The newly elected local officials in Muntinlupa City will hold their oath-taking ceremony on June 30.
The ceremony will start at 7 a.m. and will be led by Mayor Ruffy Biazon who ran unopposed and won his second term in the May 12 elections, garnering 209,498 votes.
It was announced that the ceremony will be streamed live on the Facebook accounts of the Muntinlupa City government and Biazon.
Biazon and his party mates in the One Muntinlupa party won all but one of the local positions. All winning candidates in Muntinlupa were proclaimed on May 13 by the City Board of Canvassers (CBOC).
Reelectionist Muntinlupa Rep. Jaime Fresnedi won his second term with 177,504.
The new vice mayor of Muntinlupa is independent candidate and former councilor Stephanie Teves-Wong who garnered 127,709 votes.
One Muntinlupa won all the seats for councilor in Muntinlupa’s two districts.
The newly elected councilors in District 1 are Alexson Diaz, Raul Corro, Rachel Arciaga, Paty Katy Boncayao, Jedi Presnedi, Walter Arcilla, Ting Niefes and Amanda Camilon.
The new District 2 councilors are Reggie Landrito, Jun Metong Sevilla, Kaye Anne Rongavilla, Ryan Bagatsing, Arlene Hilapo, Sha Sha Baes, Dado Moldez and Cornelio Martinez.
