Man arrested for raping, impregnating teenage daughter

BUTUAN CITY – Police arrested a 40-year-old father for allegedly raping and impregnating his 16-year-old daughter in Kadingilan, Bukidnon.

Police Major Joann G. Navarro, Police Regional Office 10-Regional Public Information Office chief, said the suspect, tagged as the No. 4 Most Wanted Person (MWP) on the regional level for qualified rape, was arrested on Saturday, June 21, with no bail recommended.

Navarro said the suspect raped his daughter last September and became pregnant.

The suspect faced a murder case in 2013 but this was dismissed after he was placed under probation.

He is under the custody of the Kadingilan MPS for proper disposition.

PRO-10 Director Police Brig. Gen. Rolindo M. Suguilon lauded operating units for arrest of the suspect.

He urged the public to remain vigilant and continue supporting the police by reporting suspicious activities in their areas.
