Businesswoman shot dead in Quezon City

A businesswoman was shot to death by an unknown suspect while walking along Barangay Commonwealth in Quezon City. 
Based on the police report, the incident occurred on Monday night, June 23. 
Barangay Commonwealth Kagawad Elmer Buena said a concerned citizen reported the incident after hearing a gunshot sound. 
Dali-dali po kaming kasama ang mga BPSO at sinabay ko na rin po tawagan 'yung ating ambulance. Pagdating po namin sa area, nakita na po namin na nakabulagta na po 'yung isang babae na duguan at may tama po sa ulo and then pina-check po sa ating mga medic, wala na po talagang pulso (We quickly went with the BPSOs and I also called our ambulance. When we arrived at the scene, we saw that the woman was lying there, covered in blood and with a head injury. We had our medics check on her, she didn't have a pulse anymore),” he said. 
The victim was declared dead on the spot by the first responders. 
Law enforcement authorities are investigating the possible motives for the killing.
The victim reportedly owns various enterprises including a grocery store, piggery, and lending business.
