Woman shot dead after attending court hearing

BINAN CITY, Laguna -- A 36-year-old woman was shot dead after attending a court hearing in Barangay Canlalay, here, on Tuesday morning, June 24.
Police identified the victim as Phoebe Dawn Marie Monton.
The victim was standing in a vulcanizing shop when a man onboard a motorcycle appeared and shot her in the head.
She died on the spot.
The suspect fled and the victim was taken to hospital where he was declared dead.
Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
