Quezon City gov't gets 5th consecutive unmodified opinion from COA
The Quezon City Government has earned the highest audit rating from the Commission on Audit (COA) for the fifth consecutive Unmodified Opinion for fiscal year 2024.
Mayor Joy Belmonte lauded the achievement, emphasizing that the recognition goes beyond technical compliance.

“This recognition from COA is not just about numbers—it’s about trust,” said Belmonte.
“It affirms that we are managing public funds with integrity and always with the welfare of QCitizens in mind. It’s a testament to our team’s dedication to honest, transparent, and efficient governance,” she added.
The 2024 Independent Auditor’s Report confirmed that Quezon City’s financial records were free from material misstatements and reflect a consistent culture of excellence in public financial management.
Quezon City further strengthened its reputation as one of the most financially well-managed local government units (LGUs) in the country.
The city government pledged to sustain its good governance practices and continue delivering people-centered programs that contribute to inclusive growth and national development.
