The Malabon City government has upgraded the Ospital ng Malabon with new medical equipment to enhance healthcare services for residents.
Mayor Jeannie Sandoval led the blessing ceremony for the newly acquired machines on Monday, June 23, and reaffirmed the city’s commitment to providing faster, more modern, and more reliable healthcare.
Malabueños! We aim to improve the quality of our healthcare programs. That’s why we’re investing in new medical tools to upgrade our services,” she said.
“Mas mabilis, mas tiyak, at moderno. Prayoridad po natin dito sa Malabon ang kalusugan at kapakanan ng bawat residente (Faster, more reliable, and modern—health and the well-being of every resident remain a top priority in Malabon),” Sandoval added.
The hospital received updated tools for surgery, improved examination tables, an X-ray machine, and specialized lighting for operating rooms.
New stretchers were also added for safer patient transfers, along with machines for more accurate blood testing.
Older but essential equipment already in use—such as breathing aids, heart monitors, newborn care devices, and infection testing machines—were also blessed during the ceremony.
The hospital's staff were also trained to operate the new machines to ensure safe and effective use.
City Administrator Dr. Alexander Rosete emphasized the administration’s focus on healthcare development.
Makasisiguro po ang bawat Malabueño na ang ating pagseserbisyo ay hindi titigil at madadagdagan pa pagdating sa kasiguruhan ng kalusugan at sa pagpapatuloy ng pag-angat ng buhay ng bawat isa (Every Malabueno can be assured that the city’s public service will not stop, but will only grow stronger—especially when it comes to ensuring health and continuously improving the quality of life for all),” he said.
The local government remains committed to make the city more health-ready and future-proof for its growing community.
