Las Pinas LGU inaugurates new NU campus

Las Pinas Mayor-elect April Aguilar led the inauguration of the newest campus of the National University Philippines (NU) in the city that will provide accessible and quality education.
Aguilar was joined by Congressman-elect Mark Anthony Santos and NU President, Dr. Renato Carlos Ermita, during the official launch of NUP Las Pinas, located at SM Southmall in Almanza Uno, Las Pinas City.

The mayor-elect said the 14th campus, strategically located within a commercial center, offers the students the advantage of being close to various establishments, creating more opportunities for hands-on training and future employment.
Aguilar expressed support for the university’s expansion in Las Piñas, noting that it aligns with the local government’s push for inclusive growth, youth development, and stronger education-industry linkages.
She said the university has been recognized for its academic excellence, which has formed the country’s most successful movers and shakers in various industries.
