Asticom eyes Asia-Pacific expansion, bringing Filipino talent to Australia, New Zealand
The Globe Group’s Asticom Technology Inc., a digital-first shared services and outsourcing company, is targeting expansion beyond the Philippines and into the Asia-Pacific region, particularly Australia and New Zealand.
“For the last decade, we’ve been proudly serving the domestic market. Now, we’re ready to bring Filipino excellence to the region,” said Asticom President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mharicar Castillo-Reyes.
Founded in 2015 with just five employees, Asticom has grown into a major player in the outsourcing space with a workforce of more than 4,000.
It currently offers five core lines of business, covering talent, employee experience, customer experience, information technology, and engineering outsourcing.
As part of the Globe Group, Asticom supports over 40 industries, including fintech, telecom, logistics, and infrastructure.
Castillo-Reyes said the rising global demand for tech-enabled services places the local outsourcing industry on a clear path towards expansion.
“Outsourcing today is no longer just about transactions, it’s about transformation. Our clients are looking for partners that can help them move faster, work smarter, and deliver better results,” she said.
She cited artificial intelligence (AI) as the key force in shaping the future of the outsourcing industry.
Instead of treating AI as a threat, Castillo-Reyes explained that it should be seen as an enabler, with companies that harness the technology poised to become industry leaders.
Asticom has been integrating AI across its operations, from streamlining talent screening and payroll to enhancing support for information technology and regulatory compliance.
With its eye on the future, the company is ramping up its growth plans to generate as many as 15,000 jobs in the coming years.
“We’ll continue delivering on our purpose: to uplift Filipino lives through innovation, technology, and meaningful employment,” said Castillo-Reyes.
