Rotary Club of San Pablo City celebrates 75 years of service and legacy

The Rotary Club of San Pablo City proudly celebrated its 75th anniversary on June 5, 2025, with an evening of commemoration and inspiration at the prestigious Manila Hotel. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including San Pablo City Mayor-elect Najie Gapangada, district governors from District 3820, members of the Rotary Club of Manila led by its president, Jutjut Enriques, family members, and distinguished guests from various Rotary Clubs.
The evening commenced with a captivating video presentation, offering a brief yet comprehensive history of the Rotary Club of San Pablo City. This was followed by insightful reflections from several of the club's past presidents, who shared their experiences and highlighted the impact of Rotary's service over the decades.
A poignant highlight of the evening was the posthumous award given to charter president Antonio L. Azores. The award was received by his son, past president Bobby M. Azores—a second-generation Rotarian—and his grandson Bam, who is set to become a third-generation member of the same club.
The celebration concluded with heartfelt messages from Rotary Club of Manila president Jutjut Enriques, followed by a few words from Mayor Najie Gapangada. Their remarks emphasized the importance of Rotary’s mission and the continued dedication to service and community development. Thereafter, a toast was proposed by past president and third-generation member Jovey Eala, calling for the club to continue serving its community and making a lasting impact for years to come.
The Rotary Club of San Pablo City remains committed to its mission of “Service Above Self” and looks forward to the next 75 years of making a positive difference in the community and beyond.
