PrimeWater on track to finish SJDM water line by end of June
PrimeWater Infrastructure Corp. announced that the company is nearing the completion of its transmission line extension project in San Jose del Monte (SJDM), Bulacan, by the end of June.
In a statement over the weekend, PrimeWater noted that the Transmission Line Extension Project from Barangay Tungkong Mangga to Barangay Gaya-Gaya Segment 1, in partnership with the San Jose del Monte Water District, is currently underway.
The company said that it is upgrading both our storage and transmission systems to ensure that we will be able to supply our concessionaires sufficiently. The project is in near completion and we are optimistic that once it is completed, the significant impact will be felt by our subscribers.
The project targets to provide 16 to 24 hours of water supply service to beneficiary areas and support approximately 4,000 new service connections.
The joint venture between PrimeWater and the San Jose del Monte Water District has already resulted in an increase in water supply from 85.223 million liters of water per day (MLD) to 122.356 MLD.
PrimeWater added that the partnership continues to work hard to meet the supply-demand as it continues to increase due to the rapid growth in population and economic growth in the said city. The completion of this project is a strategic move to address the rising demand for water in the rapidly developing city of San Jose del Monte.
PrimeWater is a Villar-led water utility firm that provides water services such as water system development, bulk water supply, improvement, rehabilitation, and septage management to approximately 500,000 households.
