A total of 33 participants wore colorful gowns and walked with their escorts from Malabon National High School to the Malabon Sports Complex, in a lively show of pride, joy, and unity.
The event was organized in partnership with the TransRoyale Organization to provide a safe, welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ residents to express themselves and be embraced by the wider community.
Ngayong Pride Month, buong puso kong kinikilala at ipinagdiriwang ang pagkakaiba-iba at pagmamahalan sa ating komunidad. Ang LGBTQIA+ ay mahalagang bahagi ng ating lungsod—karapat-dapat sa pagkakapantay-pantay, respeto, at pagtanggap (This Pride Month, I wholeheartedly recognize and celebrate the diversity and love within our community. The LGBTQIA+ community is an essential part of our city—deserving of equality, respect, and acceptance),” Mayor Jeannie Sandoval said.
“Bilang inyong alkalde, patuloy tayong magsusulong ng mga programang inklusibo at ligtas para sa lahat. Sama-sama tayong lalaban kontra diskriminasyon at pagtatangi. Sa ating lungsod, ang pagmamahal at pagkakapantay-pantay ang laging nangingibabaw (As your mayor, I remain committed to promoting inclusive and safe programs for everyone. Together, we will continue to stand against discrimination and prejudice. In our city, love and equality will always prevail),” she added.
Notable attendees included former Congressman Ricky Sandoval, Reyna ng Bulaklakan 2025 grand winner Yuki Roque, internet personalities Mima Otlum and Arman Salon, local LGBTQIA+ leaders, and city officials.
The celebration served as a testament to the city’s continuing commitment to inclusivity and its advocacy for equal rights and representation for all, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation.
