The intensified campaign of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office against criminality resulted in the arrest of seven suspects and in the confiscation of illegal drugs and a grenade over the weekend.
Based on the police report, a successful anti-illegal drug operation was conducted by the San Jose Del Monte City police resulting in the arrest of the suspect identified as alias “Banning”, 31, resident of Muzon South, San Jose Del Monte at around 1:30 a.m. on June 22.

Seized from the suspect were seven plastic sachets of shabu worth P102,000, one grenade, and the buy-bust money.
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team immediately responded.
The suspect was placed under the custody of SJDM City police station and is facing charges for violations of Article II, Sections 5 and 11 of R.A. 9165 and violations of R.A. 9516.
In separate buy-bust operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Meycauayan City, and units from San Rafael, Norzagaray, Bocaue, and Angat, six drug suspects were arrested.
An estimated P90,236 worth of illegal drugs was confiscated along with the buy-bust money.
A manhunt operation conducted by the tracker team from Bocaue municipal police station resulted in the arrest of a 38-year-old tricycle driver, of Saint Martha, Brgy. Batia, Bocaue at around 5:30 am on June 21.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for violating Section 10 (a) of R.A. 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act) issued by Presiding Judge Jonathan Patrick Ayon-Ayon De Ala, of RTC Branch 18, Malolos City, with a recommended bail of P80,000.
The arrested individual is now under the custody of the Bocaue police.
