Dennis Trillo defends Jennylyn Mercado's son from bashers: 'May problema po ba kayo sa may autism?'

Award-winning actor Dennis Trillo has defended Jazz, the son of Jennylyn Mercado, from bashers.

On social media, Dennis called out netizens for allegedly making inappropriate comments about Jazz. However, it appears that the conversation thread between Dennis and the netizens has been deleted.

It started when Jennylyn shared a video with her sons on a recent trip to the mall. It was captioned: 'Spending the day with my boys, discovering wonders and picking up some cool stuff at the National Geographic store.'

Then a netizen wrote in the comments section: 'Parang may autism anak ni Jen.'

Dennis remarked: 'May problema po ba kayo sa may autism?'

Another netizen wrote: 'Parang malamya.'

Dennis replied: 'Wow. Hiyang hiya naman ako sa pagmumukha mo.'

Jazz, 16, is the son of Jennylyn and actor Patrick Garcia. In 2022, Jennylyn revealed in an interview that her son has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. According to the Mayo Clinic, it is a condition related to brain development that affects how people perceive others and interact with them socially.

Fans have shown support for Dennis and Jennylyn, encouraging them to ignore their critics. The couple married in 2021 and have a blended family that includes their daughter, Dylan. Dennis also has a son named Calix from a previous relationship. Both have shared their experiences regarding the joys and dynamics of their blended family.
