BACOLOD CITY – Three persons were killed in motorcycle accidents in Negros Occidental on Sunday, June 22.
A 44-year-old call center agent died after he sideswiped a center island and hit his head on a concrete post in Purok Roadside Barangay Tangub here.

Police Executive Master Sgt. Rodney Tiania, deputy chief of the Bacolod Traffic Enforcement Unit, said the victim, Darwin of Bago City, Negros Occidental, was wearing a helmet but due to the impact, he sustained fatal head injuries.
Police said that the victim might have dozed off on his way home.
Later that day, two motorcycle riders were also killed after they overshot the curve lane and rammed an electrical post and a Narra tree on their way home in Barangay Poblacion, San Enrique, Negros Occidental.
The victims were identified by police as 43-year-old Stanley, and his backrider Raymar, 23, both residents of Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.
Both were declared dead in a hospital, according to the police.
