2 nabbed for stealing call center agent's cellphone in Rizal
Police arrested two men for stealing a call center agent's cellphone while waiting for a ride in Barangay San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal on June 20.
The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) identified the suspect as alias Elhy, 24, and alias Just, 19.

Rizal PPO chief Col. Felipe Maraggun said the victim was waiting for a PUV on her way home from work on E. Rodriguez Street at around 11:45 p.m. when the two suspects suddenly approached her and forcefully took her phone.
Two Tactical Motorcycle Riding Unit (TMRU) officers of the Rodriguez Municipal Police Station who were conducting patrols in the area heard the victim's cry for help, prompting them to immediately respond and apprehend Elhy and recover the victim's cellphone from him.
However, Just was able to elude arrest onboard a motorcycle.
A follow-up operation was launched against Just which led to his arrest in Barangay San Isidro. The police also recovered the motorcycle he used in his escape.
The two suspects are currently detained at the Rodriguez Custodial Facility and are facing charges of robbery.
