2 laborers nabbed for burning dog

SISON, Pangasinan – Police apprehended two construction workers for allegedly burning a dog in Barangay Pinmilapil here on Sunday, June 22.
The suspects were identified as Manny and Lawrence, both 23.
They were arrested after a concerned citizen reported the incident to the police. The burnt dog was found in an abandoned comfort room.
The suspects and the dog were turned over to the police with assistance from barangay officials.
A complaint for violating the Animal Welfare Act (Republic Act) 8485 as amended by RA 10631 is being prepared against the suspects.
