Provincial bus crashes into concrete barriers in Mandaluyong

A provincial bus crashed into concrete barriers after it allegedly swerved to avoid another vehicle along EDSA-Guadalupe in Mandaluyong City on Sunday morning, June 22.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said the incident occurred around 6 a.m. and occupied one lane of the road, causing temporary heavy traffic for motorists heading toward Ortigas and Cubao.
The MMDA said the bus, reportedly traveling from Pasay City to Quezon City, lost control and crashed into the barriers after its driver allegedly tried to avoid a taxi upon reaching the area.
No one was injured in the incident, as the bus was reportedly not carrying any passengers at the time.
The MMDA’s tow truck removed the bus from the area around 7:43 a.m.
Authorities are now investigating the incident.
