Maraming salamat sa inyong walang sawang pagtugon sa pangangailangan ng ating lungsod. Ang inyong tagumpay ay tagumpay rin ng ating buong pamahalaan at mamamayan. Muli, maligayang pagbati at ipagpatuloy ninyo ang isang tapat at totoo na paglilingkod (Thank you very much for your tireless response to the needs of our city. Your success is also the success of our entire government and citizenry. Once again, congratulations, and may you continue to serve with honesty and integrity), she added.
The awardees were recognized for having rendered 25, 30, 35, 40, and 45 years of continuous service to the city government. Joining the mayor and vice mayor in the awarding was City Personnel Officer Miguelita Alonzo.
The top awardee was Antonio Punsalan from the Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau, who has faithfully served the city for an exceptional 45 years.
Aside from commemorative plaques, the honorees also received cash incentives in recognition of their loyalty and contribution to Manila’s growth and governance.
Lacuna-Pangan lauded the awardees’ tireless work, emphasizing that their commitment helped shape Manila into the city it is today.
“Your success is also the success of the entire city government and every Manileño you have served over the years,” she said.
