Winners of the 2025 UTF Elite Eight Playoffs earn berths to the team that would compete in a tournament in Malaysia this November.
Eighteen junior tennis standouts are slated to compete in Malaysia this November following their strong showing in the 2025 UTF Elite Eight Playoffs held recently in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Juvel Velos and Ariel Cabaral, as well as Cielo May Gonzales and AJ Acabo banner the crew after their top performances in the centerpiece boys and girls 18-under respectively.
Joining them are boys division standouts Josh Benedict Lim and Matthew Morris (16-under), Everett Gil Niere and Claudwin Seven Tonacao (14-under), and Everett Pete Niere and Sherwin Brylle Gom-os (12-under).
Eilythia Comia and Everett Enzo Niere, meanwhile, secured their spots in the 10-under unisex, while completing the cast are girls representatives Cadee Jan Dagoon and Khalilah Kate Imalay (16-under), Mitchellen Cruspero and Kathlyn Bugna (14-under), and Shaner Gabaldon and Etha Nadine Seno (12-under).
Finalists and runners-up earned berths to the squad as the competition drew 72 junior players across the country including 36 from Luzon and National Capital Region.
