A section of Aurora Boulevard and Araneta Avenue in Quezon City (QC) was temporarily closed after volumes of paint spilled onto the road following a vehicular accident involving a wing truck loaded with paint early Saturday morning, June 21.
According to authorities, the incident occurred in Barangay Doña Imelda at around 4:27 a.m.
No one was reported injured.
After removing the wing truck, firefighters from the Laging Handa Fire Sub-Station (Engine 546T) and Galas Fire Sub-Station (Engine 542) conducted clean-up and flushing operations in the area to remove the spilled paint.
The road was reopened after the clean-up.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
