TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – A pack of suspected floating shabu was recovered by fishermen in the sea of Barangay Bisagu, Aparri, Cagayan on Friday, June 20.
The 1.5-kilo contraband valued at P10.2 million was labeled 66 and packed in a heat-sealed transparent plastic bag with the logo of a durian fruit.
The illegal drug was turned over to the Aparri Police Station and taken into custody by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region 2 for examination.
Similar items have been discovered by fishermen in the sea of this province in the past days.
On June 14, two sacks were found in Claveria and one pack in Santa Praxedes.
The PDEA valued these at millions.
