A nationwide bottle-cap promo is turning everyday drinkers into instant millionaires

For five everyday Filipinos, a bottle of gin turned into a golden ticket. Ginebra San Miguel Inc. (GSMI) recently named the newest millionaires in its ongoing “Gin is In, Gin to Win, Ginstanalo” promo, where consumers across the country have a shot at becoming instant winners—just by twisting off a cap.
The latest lucky five are Romeo De Asis of Daraga, Albay; Antonio Castro of Olongapo City; Joel Sindao of San Mateo, Isabela; Walter Tamboa of Laoag, Ilocos Norte; and Sarah Marie Cortuna of Abra De Ilog, Occidental Mindoro. Each walked away with P1 million in cash, all for taking part in the bottle-cap based promo that launched in March.
It’s a simple mechanic with high-stakes rewards: consumers aged 18 and up can purchase any participating GSMI product and check under the cap for a winning seal. Prizes range from limited-edition Barangay Ginebra jerseys to motorcycles and cash amounts of P10,000, P20,000, P50,000, and P100,000—capped off by the grand prize of P1 million.
Participating labels include Ginebra San Miguel, GSM Blue, GSM Premium Gin, Primera Light Brandy, and Vino Kulafu. Redemption runs until July 31, 2025, giving fans more than enough time to join and claim any prizes.
