Three construction workers were injured following an explosion inside a gasoline warehouse in Vitas, Tondo, on Saturday morning, June 21.
The incident occurred around 9 a.m. while construction activities were underway inside the warehouse.
According to initial reports, the workers accidentally struck a crude oil pipeline, triggering the explosion.
The victims, aged 24, 25, and 30, sustained burn injuries and were immediately brought to Tondo Medical Center for treatment.
Fire investigators are now conducting a thorough probe to determine the cause of the explosion and to assess whether proper safety protocols were followed during the construction.
Residents in the area reported hearing a loud blast, followed by smoke billowing from the facility.
