Lucas thanked PRO 4-A officers and personnel for their commitment and support throughout his tour of duty.
He thanked PNP chief Police Gen. Nicolas D. Torre III for his trust and confidence in him as deputy regional director for administration of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).
“I accept this new mission with the same commitment to excellence and integrity that I carried in Calabarzon. As I now take on my next role, I carry with me the lessons, memories, and the spirit of Team Calabarzon – resilient, committed, and service-oriented,” Lucas said.
“As I pass the torch to the incoming regional director, I do so with peace in my heart, knowing that we leave behind a legacy of purpose. Let us all continue to serve with integrity, humility, and compassion, true to the spirit of Bagong Pilipinas and the legacy of EmPOWERed Leadership. Maraming salamat. Agyamanak kadakayo amin. Mabuhay ang PRO 4A. Mabuhay ang PNP!”
Wanky, in his assumption message, committed to sustain the gains of PRO-Calabarzon and further strengthen its operational capabilities.
He vowed to intensify the fight against criminality, illegal drugs, and insurgency, while upholding police discipline, professionalism, and transparency, and likewise committed to promoting strong partnerships with stakeholders and the public.
Wanky backed the PNP’s Three Pillars and assured that he will strive not only to meet but also to exceed the standards set by his predecessor.
The turnover ceremony was presided over by Police Lt. Gen. Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., deputy chief for administration, representing PNP chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III.
Nartatez handed over the office symbol and the property and equipment inventory book, signifying the formal transfer of command, responsibility, and authority to the incoming regional director.
