CAVITE – Authorities discovered a suitcase containing an estimated P204 million worth of suspected shabu in a vacant lot in Barangay Sabang, Naic, on Friday, June 20.

Police Regional Office 4A (PRO 4A) said a security guard notified the Naic Municipal Police Station personnel patrolling the area about a green suitcase left by the roadside.

Upon inspecting the suitcase, authorities found heat-sealed packs of suspected shabu weighing a total of more or less 30 kilos.

PRO 4A Acting Director Brig. Gen. Jack L. Wanky lauded the community for its cooperation in reporting the incident, and has ordered a thorough investigation into the incident.
The seized evidence, meanwhile, has been turned over to the Cavite Provincial Forensic Unit for laboratory examination.
Authorities have yet to identify the individuals responsible for leaving the suitcase.
