Suguilon appointed as Northern Mindanao top cop

CAMP ALAGAR, CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Philippine National Police chief Police Gen. Nicolas Torre lll appointed Police Brig. Gen. Rolindo M. Suguilon as new Police Regional Office-10 (Northern Mindanao) head effective Thursday, June 19.
He replaced Police Brig. Gen. Jaysen C. de Guzman who was reassigned to the Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR), where he is expected to continue his service in a key leadership role.
PRO-10 Regional Public Information Office chief Police Major Joann G. Navarro said the reassignment of officers is a regular process in the PNP organization, ensuring the continued development of leadership competencies, career progression, and the effective delivery of public safety services across the country.
The PRO-10 welcomed Suguilon who was born in El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental.
He previously served as the acting director of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), deputy regional director for operations, chief regional staff of Police Regional Office-11, and chief of the Regional Investigation and Detection Management Division of PRO 10.
PRO-10 thanked De Guzman for his service.
As PRO-10 transitions under new leadership, the command remains steadfast in its commitment to serve and protect the people of Northern Mindanao, upholding professionalism, discipline, and excellence in public service, Navarro assured.
