Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino reunite in ABS- CBN's romance-suspense series 'The Alibi'

The popular Kapamilya love team of Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino are returning in an exciting new series, where they will star in ABS-CBN’s upcoming romance-suspense titled “The Alibi,” which will air soon.

ABS-CBN announced the new series on June 18 through an investigative-style photo reel. The reel featured Kim and Paulo in character, showcasing their new looks: Kim with daring short, curly hair and Paulo with a rebellious, messy hairstyle. The intriguing photo also included bloodstains and a stack of police files.

“The Alibi” will be helmed by the same team that was in-charge of Kim and Paulo’s hit series “Linlang” led by directors FM Reyes and Jojo Saguin, writer Danica Domingo, and under the production of Dreamscape Entertainment. More details about the project will be announced soon.

“The Alibi” marks Kim and Paulo’s highly anticipated comeback after their widely successful projects for the mystery-thriller “Linlang” and romantic-comedy “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” Philippine adaptation. They also starred in Star Cinema’s box-office hit movie “My Love Will Make You Disappear.”
