For travelers, Kaspersky has launched their own eSIM store, which can be downloaded in the Apple App Store and Google Play.
The eSIM covers over 150 countries and regions with over 2,000 data plans to choose from.
Please note that not all devices support eSIM yet. You can check in your phone’s settings if it can have an eSIM. If you have one of those really pricy flagship devices, there’s a very good chance it supports eSIM.
According to Kaspersky, by 2028, half of the mobile devices will support eSIM, and so, to prepare for that time, Kaspersky launched the eSIM Store.
When I checked the app myself, I was greeted by multiple images that look very AI generated. Then, options for countries and their prices came up next. For my own quick look, I checked out a favorite destination of Filipinos, Japan. See the screenshot I took below.
