Hard Rock Cafe Manila puts local flavor on the map with 2025 World Burger Tour
Filipino-inspired burger vies for a global spotlight in Hard Rock's international competition
By MB Lifestyle
From June 14 to August 5, diners at Hard Rock Cafe in Glorietta can sink their teeth into the Philippine entry—a bold, Filipino-inspired burger crafted by the local culinary team. Only five burgers will be chosen to represent the best of the best, and Manila’s creation is hoping to make the cut.
“It’s more than a meal,” reads the campaign’s rallying cry. “This is a movement.”
This year’s tour goes beyond the burger bun. By teaming up with food content creators and influencers, Hard Rock is bringing the story of each burger to life across social media. Platforms like Instagram and TikTok will showcase behind-the-scenes content, chef interviews, and taste tests. It is a strategy that leans into community support as much as culinary innovation.
To help Manila’s entry advance, customers are encouraged to try the burger in person, post about it, and rate their experience. All feedback counts toward the final decision, which will be announced between August 5 and September 5. Winning burgers will then be served in Hard Rock Cafes worldwide.
This is not the first time The Bistro Group, which operates Hard Rock Cafe Manila, has thrown its weight behind a major international culinary initiative. Since bringing the casual dining concept to the Philippines in 1994 through TGIFridays, the group has built a diverse portfolio of brands including Morton's The Steakhouse, Longhorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, and Ember. Each concept reflects a blend of global standards and local character.
The World Burger Tour entry is available only until August 5. For those who believe in Filipino flavor—and want to see it served on plates around the globe—this is the moment to show up and bite in.
