Singer Lucas Wong to make acting debut in Taiwanese drama

Singer Lucas Wong will be making his acting debut in a Taiwanese drama starring Jerry Yan, known for the hit TV series “Meteor Garden,” and Wu Kang-ren. 
Lucas will play the role of the younger version of Yan’s character in the Taiwanese drama “Our Time (Women de Niandai – Shihou).”
I am really very happy and grateful to the director and the staff members for giving me this opportunity. This is my first time acting and I am very nervous,” said Lucas.

He said he received advice to prepare for his role in the drama.
“But the director, staff members and teachers gave me a lot of advice, which allowed me to prepare well. I will work hard to perform my best and hope that everyone will look forward to it and like it, he added.
Lucas is undergoing lessons in acting, dancing, and boxing.
Directed by critically-acclaimed Cao Ruiyuan, the drama is set in 1963. “Our Time” follows the dramatic life-altering story of a vibrant high school girl after a tragic car accident, leaving her bedridden.
The drama will also star Ning Chang and Ivy Chen.
Lucas visited Manila last year and held his fan-con.
