ILOILO CITY – The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Iloilo is all set to hold Iloilo Business Month 2025 with the theme “Empowering Possibilities, Elevating Progress.”
Events that start in July and end in August seek to position Iloilo province as a rising hub for business leadership and transformation.

PCCI-Iloilo President Engr. Fulbert C. Woo said the two-month business event aims to bridge sectors to boost innovation-driven economy for Iloilo and the rest of Western Visayas region.
Woo said there is a push for Iloilo City and Iloilo to have a bigger role in the regional economy after Negros Occidental province is no longer part of Western Visayas.
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) have partnered with PCCI-Iloilo for eight business events.
DTI-6 Assistant Regional Director Mutya Eusores said the Western Visayas Conference and Expo will gather 300 public and private stakeholders on how to accelerate the region’s economic development agenda.
By August, DOST-Iloilo Provincial Director Engr. Sheila Oberio said the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Festival will gather stakeholders to address the challenges and advantages of AI.
The PCCI Iloilo Academy, an empowerment seminar for frontliners and mid-level managers led by June Acebedo, Neuro Linguistic Programming master trainer, will also be held.
Businessman Pierre Jefferson Go said the What’s Up Western Visayas multi-sector dialogue for inclusive development will have popular TV host Boy Abunda as moderator.
Concord Global Solutions President and Managing Director Gleendo Dasmariñas said the Innovators Summit will be a platform for startup acceleration, investment opportunities, and innovation showcase.
Prince Celo, chief marketing and sales officer of The Medical City Iloilo, said the PCCI Iloilo Businesserye will introduce a video-storytelling series featuring Ilonggo entrepreneurs who made an impact.
Jennifer Juan-Tong said the Coffee Moments: Industry Matching will be a networking session co-presented by Sun Life that aims to foster collaboration.
