Parañaque LGU, DOLE sign MOA to set up Job Placement Office at PUP

The city government of Paranaque has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for the establishment of a Job Placement Office (JPO) at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Parañaque campus.

The signing ceremony took place on June 18 at the >font-family: Gilroy; display: inline !important;>at the Session Hall of the Legislative Building.

>font-family: Gilroy; display: inline !important;>Parañaque City Administrator, Atty. Voltaire dela Cruz, representing Mayor Eric Olivarez, led the event.

Also present were DOLE-MuntiParlas Field Office representative Jun Castillon, PUP-Parañaque Campus Assistant to the Vice President Roseller M. Malabanan, and School Director Sheryl R. Morales.

Dela Cruz said the MOA will serve as a vital link between employers and job seekers, particularly students and graduates of PUP- Parañaque, as well as beneficiaries of other scholarship programs.

The office will collaborate with companies to match qualified candidates with available job openings.
