Mayor-elect Francisco Isko Moreno Domagoso has issued a strong warning that government employees caught engaging in bribery or extortion will face immediate dismissal through a strict “One-Strike Policy.”
“Pag nahuli, walang palusot, walang pakiusap (If you're caught, no excuses, no appeals),” Domagoso said firmly.
Under his leadership, he stated that corruption would not be tolerated in the City of Manila.
“We’ll file charges if there is a complaint, he added.
The incoming mayor emphasized that his administration will not turn a blind eye to any form of wrongdoing.
Instead, he said he will actively pursue legal action against those found guilty of corruption.
Domagoso reiterated that he intends to lead a clean, honest government and restore the trust of Manila residents in their local officials.
