'Bumbay' nabbed in Valenzuela buy-bust; P714K worth of shabu seized

Authorities arrested a suspected high-value individual identified as Bumbay, 29, after yielding over P700,000 worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Valenzuela City, on Wednesday, June 18.

The Valenzuela City Police Station - Drug Enforcement Unit (VCPS-DEU), in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), conducted the operation at around 11:59 p.m. in Barangay Lingunan.

Bumbay was caught in the act of selling a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover police officer.

Police confiscated from the suspect 105 grams of shabu worth P714,000, a black coin pouch, additional cash, and the buy-bust money.

The suspect will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, police added.
