LG has recently celebrated its 12th year as the world’s No. 1 OLED TV brand.
As part of their celebration in the country, LG has opened an art exhibit at the National Museum of Natural History titled “Fragments.”
These exhibits feature three digital pieces by Isaiah Cacnio:
Where Fire Begins,Stories in Stone,” and “What Breaks, Flows,” each of them showcased in LG’s OLED TVs.
The art exhibit also honors the 127th year of the Philippine Independence, and, as LG puts it, an evolution of their OLED technology.
Cacnio’s works explore the Philippines’ rich geological and emotional landscape, brought to life through LG’s industry-leading OLED display technology. Cacnio is the first digital and motion artist featured at the National Museum, joining the ranks of global talents such as Refik Anadol and Steve Harrington, who have also collaborated with LG on the international stage.
“This milestone honors not just technology, but the spirit of the Filipino people—our creativity, resilience, and identity,” said Nakhyun Seong, Managing Director of LG Philippines. “Isaiah’s artwork, powered by LG OLED, merges nature and innovation, echoing the story of our nation.”
To deepen its commitment to cultural preservation, LG donated over ₱500,000 worth of cutting-edge displays to the museum, including LG StanbyME units, OLED TVs, and monitors. The donation enhances the museum’s capacity to deliver immersive learning experiences to a wider audience.
National Museum Director-General Jeremy Barns praised the donation as a vital contribution to 21st-century museum education. “With LG’s help, we’re evolving from static exhibits to immersive storytelling—enriching how we share the Filipino story.”
Highlighting the company’s deeper mission, LG Philippines Head of Corporate Marketing Mayan Salapantan said, “By integrating LG OLED TVs—where technology meets timeless artistry—we create experiences that connect people to our nation’s cultural treasures. With LG, you're connected to a world of vibrant colors, positivity, and optimism.”
The event also served as the local launchpad for LG’s newest OLED and QNED TV lineup, equipped with Affectionate Intelligence. These AI-powered displays deliver hyper-personalized viewing through features such as voice-recognizing Magic Remotes, AI Picture Pro for enhanced clarity, and customizable home screens. LG’s philosophy centers on making technology more human—building experiences that are intuitive, warm, and meaningful.
