Elderly American, Pinay wife robbed, murdered

TACLOBAN CITY – An 81-year-old American and his wife were robbed and stabbed to death in Sitio Talong, Barangay Liloan, Ormoc City, on Wednesday, June 18.
Investigation said the sister of the 65-year-old female victim discovered their bodies in their house covered in blood.
Victims sustained multiple stab wounds and the house was in disarray.
She sought assistance from neighbors who reported the incident to the police.
The case officer has coordinated with the Ormoc City Forensic Unit to conduct a thorough crime scene investigation and evidence processing.
Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
