Conductor arrested for submitting fake papers for DSWD financial aid

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – A 42-year-old bus conductor was apprehended for submitting fake documents in applying for government aid under the Aid to Individuals in Crisis Situations of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) here on Tuesday morning, June 17.
Police identified the suspect as Ricky.
Investigation said the suspect appeared at the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office and sought medical assistance through AICS.
He submitted a medical prescription and certificate and other required documents.
The PSWDO checked and verified the documents but found out that all his documents were falsified.
Social workers sought police assistance and Ricky was arrested.
Ricky faces a case of swindling through falsification of documents.
