3 dead, 5 injured in Tagaytay car crash involving drunk teen driver

- An 18-year-old driver, allegedly drunk, was involved in a deadly collision in Tagaytay that killed three people, including a pregnant woman.
CAVITE – Three people died, including a pregnant woman, in a vehicle accident along Bypass Road in Barangay Zambal, Tagaytay City, on Tuesday, June 17.
A report from the Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) stated that at 12:50 a.m., a minivan driven by an 18-year-old male identified as alias France allegedly swerved into the opposite lane and crashed into an oncoming car.

The driver of the car and one of his passengers, a pregnant woman, were rushed to the hospital but were declared dead on arrival.
A third passenger from the same vehicle succumbed to injuries roughly an hour after being brought to the hospital.
Alias France, meanwhile, sustained injuries, along with his four passengers: alias Dan, alias Gab, alias Jin, and alias Gabrielle.

A report from the Police Regional Office 4A (PRO4A) stated that the driver and the passengers of the minivan were senior high school graduates with ages ranging from 17 to 19 years old.
The police report said that alias France was allegedly under the influence of liquor.
