A fire razed houses in Barangay Bambang, Taguig on June 17, displacing 40 families or 163 individuals.
The Taguig City Fire Station reported that the fire started at about 8:08 a.m. at a house on Mastrili Street.
Firefighters raised the first alarm at 8:19 a.m. and second alarm at 8:27 a.m. before it was put out at 10:08 a.m.
The blaze originated from a room of a house but the cause is under investigation.
A total of 12 fire trucks, a rescue truck, 12 water tankers, and three ambulances responded to the incident.
The fire damaged around P450,000 worth of property.
