Two female NAIA personnel arrested for extortion

Two female airport personnel were apprehended for allegedly extorting money from a female Chinese national during an entrapment operation at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1.
Airport Police chief Col. Bing Jose said the two airport personnel were demanding P850,000 from the foreigner in exchange for security from being deported along with her nephew who recently arrived in the country.
Jose said the airport personnel agreed to reduce the amount to P400,000 but the incident was reported to the airport police by the female Chinese.
This resulted in the arrest of the two female airport personnel.
Jose said the they are now readying the charges against the two suspects.
