K-pop idol J-Hope, a member of BTS, revealed that they will be aiming to return to the music scene as soon as possible.
J-Hope was a guest on the Korean TV show “Omniscient Interfering View” where he discussed his solo tour “Hope on the Stage” and the discharge from the military of BTS members.
Of the BTS members, Jin and J-Hope completed their military service last year followed by RM and V on June 10, and Jungkook and Jimin on June 11. Suga will complete his mandatory duty on June 21.
BTS’ return to performing on stage is one of the most anticipated events.
On the TV show, J-Hope was asked what will be the next move of BTS.
“It was emotional for me when I was discharged. ‘Will we have the same chemistry like we did before?’ That worries me a bit,” he said.
He added, “But we have been performing as a group for so long. We’ll be laughing and having fun again, which excites me.”
J-Hope said included in the plans are a new album and world tour.
“We’ll probably get together and talk about a new album. We’re trying to make a comeback as soon as possible, though. BTS is known for its performances. We’ll be planning a world tour as well,” he said on the show, which aired on Viu in the Philippines.
Meanwhile, J-Hope finished his solo world tour with two concerts in South Korea on June 13 and 14.
The two-day concert drew 54,000 fans. Overall, a total of 524,000 people attended J-Hope’s 33 concerts in 16 cities, including in Manila.
We performed every stage as if it were our last, but now it really is our last. When there is an end, there is another beginning. That's because I love the stage so much. In many ways, you all are connected to us. ARMY's power is that great and moves me. I received so much good energy during the four months that could have been short or long for some,” said J-Hope on the last day of his concert, Korean media reported.
