Tiaong mayor distributes school supplies to students

TIAONG, Quezon – The municipal government headed by Mayor Vincent Arjay Mea will distribute free school supplies to students in public schools here starting on Monday, June 16.
Mea said 25,013 students will benefit from the project that started three years ago.
”Our MEAksyon Team is ready to assist the local government of Tiaong for the upcoming distribution of free school supplies for our hardworking students in the town of Tiaong, said Mea in an online post.
Distribution will begin at 8 a.m. in Bukal Elementary School and 10 a.m. at Hilirang Buli Elementary School. School officials, barangay officials, and Parents-Teachers Associations were invited to attend.
Mea said these school supplies will ease the financial burden of parents and enable students to receive an education.
The Department of Education-Tiaong thanked the local government for the support.
